Where Stories Shape the Future of Africa
A literary platform celebrating Africa’s rich heritage of faith, culture, family values, and bold storytelling — empowering women and youth across the continent.
The Africa of My Dream Series (AFOMDS) recognizes the power of Africa’s heritage — our faith, diversity, culture, and family values — to shape a prosperous future.
We empower women and young people to tell authentic African stories that highlight identity, values, innovation, and resilience. These stories will inspire the next generation and rebuild Africa’s reading and creative culture.
“There is so much society can gain when the ingenuity of a woman is ignited.”
AFOMDS will also stimulate interest in storytelling, reading and new media.
These are stories that will define the continent’s prosperity tomorrow.
There is so much that society can gain, when the ingenuity of a woman is ignited.

Africa looks exactly as it treats her women – abused, neglected and impoverished. For the continent to be respected, it must empower its women who make up 52% of its population.”

FVDI – Family Values Development Initiative campaigns for the restoration of faith in the family system. The values that bind families are what make the family the bedrock of any society. These values are tied to the family’s economic and social capacities. Education and enterprise being determinants of income inequality are critical to family stability.
